Why come to see me
Yes, I do realise that you can buy homeopathic remedies in the local health-food shop or high street chemist, but can you be sure that you have picked the right remedy for you in the appropriate potency?
As a classical homeopath I have access to, and information about hundreds of remedies, and know how to take your full case history in order to enable me to deduce which single remedy and potency are most appropriate to helping you now.
In today's society a 'pill for every ill' is a convenient way of coping with troublesome symptoms and enabling us to carry on for now, but is it the way forward when looking at our long-term health?
Taking detailed account of how you experience your current complaint, as well as your personal history and family history enables me to select the appropriate 'core' or 'constitutional' remedy.
Correctly prescribed, it is a powerful tool to improving your general sense of wellbeing and provides clues as to which remedies may be of help to you on other occasions when you are unwell.
Because it is a complete system of medicine in itself, many clients who have joined my practice by having their case taken, return to discuss their problems from that point on. Clients are always advised to visit their GP for a conventional diagnosis before coming to see me for a homeopathic case-taking.
The remedies are made from natural substances and prepared in a way which is thought to enhance their ability to promote self-healing. They are pleasant to take, and easy to administer to infants and children.
