Barbara
Geraghty ~ London homeopath
I became a homeopath because I was drawn to the gentle, holistic and non-invasive approach of homeopathy.
I graduated from the London College of Classical Homeopathy in 1991 after four years of full-time study with many of today's most well-known and respected homeopaths and began my homeopathic career.
I was accepted onto the Register of the Society of Homeopaths in October 1993 and my practice and experience have grown over the years since then.
At college my special interest had been the homeopathic treatment of women during pregnancy and childbirth, and in the early days of my practice, most of my clients were women who were pregnant or needed help with post-natal problems.
My book, 'Homeopathy for Midwives' was published in 1997 and became a popular textbook with student midwives and homeopaths alike, giving me the opportunity to lecture to these groups and at events organised by the National Childbirth Trust.
My London homeopathy practice has grown up with those children who were born in the early days of my practice, many of whom brought along their parents, grandparents and friends to see me whenever they too, were unwell - the result, a family practice in every sense, encompassing people of all ages, from all walks of life, with all manner of health problems.
